These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of mjcronin.co.uk and to any order you place with M J Cronin, 19 Sussex Rd, Knaphill, Woking GU21 2RA, United Kingdom. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. About us
M J Cronin is a landscaping and garden maintenance business that also sells gardening tools and practical hand tools, including pruning tools, weeding tools and other equipment for everyday garden maintenance and general tasks. You can contact us at info@mjcronin.co.uk or +44 1483 799144.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. Some products are sharp cutting tools; we may refuse an order if we have reason to believe it is being placed by someone under 18.
3. Products and descriptions
We aim to describe and show our products accurately. Images are for illustration, and minor differences in colour or finish may occur. Specifications such as blade length, cutting capacity and weight are approximate.
4. Prices
All prices are in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges, if any, are shown at checkout. We may change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders already confirmed.
If we find a pricing error on your order, we will contact you before dispatch. You can then confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it for a full refund.
5. Orders and acceptance
Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send an email confirming dispatch. We may decline or cancel an order if a product is unavailable, if there is a pricing error, or if payment cannot be verified. If we cancel, we will refund any payment in full.
6. Payment
We accept major credit and debit cards and Shop Pay. Payment is taken when you place your order. See our Payment Policy for details.
7. Delivery
We deliver within the United Kingdom only. Delivery times are estimates: orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days and usually arrive within 6 to 8 business days in total. Risk in the goods passes to you when the goods are delivered to you or your nominated recipient, as required by applicable law.. See our Shipping Policy for details.
8. Returns and your right to cancel
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you may cancel most online orders within 14 days of delivery. We extend this to 30 days for unused items in original packaging. See our Return and Refund Policy for how to return an item.
9. Faulty or incorrect goods
Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected. If goods are faulty, damaged or not as described, contact us and we will offer a repair, replacement or refund as the law requires.
10. Safe use of products
Many of our products have sharp blades or moving parts. Always read any instructions supplied, use appropriate protective equipment such as gloves and eye protection, keep tools away from children, and use each tool only for its intended purpose.
11. Limitation of liability
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these Terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss that is not foreseeable, for business losses, or for damage caused by misuse of a product. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be limited under English law.
12. Intellectual property
All content on this website, including text, images, logos and product descriptions, belongs to M J Cronin or our licensors. You may not copy or reuse it without our written permission.
13. Website use
You agree not to misuse our website, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or introduce harmful code. We may suspend access to the website for maintenance or security reasons.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published when you place your order will apply to that order.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You may bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or in the courts of Scotland or Northern Ireland if you live there.
